Ok, here’s the deal. We need to keep the lawyers happy and the litigious off of our asses, so we figured a disclaimer and other legal stuff would be helpful.
Basically, we’re saying that this site is intended for HUMOR only. We’re a bunch (ok, 1) of folks who just likes to have fun by posting random stuff on the web. We try to be as correct as possible in our information, but we’re not always 100% on and you’re advised to not always take us seriously. Again, this is for fun and to make you laugh. If you are in serious need of advice, then please go find a qualified person and get advice from them. If you just want a cheap laugh, then come on over here and we can handle that. Good? Great.
We’d also like to mention that everything on this site falls under Copyright laws and, as such, can’t be used unless we tell you that you can. This is pretty simple and basic, but we still need to put it here because, well, it’s the world we’re in today. To be honest, we don’t mind if you quote us, just please make an attribution to us and let us know (badadviceforgoodpeople@gmail.com) when you do. In most cases we’ll be cool with you mentioning us (even if it’s that you hate us, we’re cool with it), but we do ask that you comply with any and all requests to take down info if we make them. Don’t expect this too often, but know we reserve the right to do so.
Also, anything that you send to us or post on the site becomes our property and, as such, we get to use it however we want to and there’s little you can do about it…. except let us know if we’re crossing a line with what you sent us. We tend to be pretty conscious about respecting others (seriously!), but sometimes we just screw up. If we do and you get offended, then please let us know in a RATIONAL manner and we’ll work with you. Come at us with guns-a-blazin and we’re likely to pretty much demolish you by… well.. we’ll write some angry post about you. STRONGLY-WORDED too. So there.
Finally, just please enjoy the site. We do this because it’s something we like to do. We’re not trying to change the world or make things perfect, just a bit funnier. Comments are always appreciated while (constructive) criticism is all-but-demanded from you. Just be nice since we have sensitive feelings, yo.
